Dont you realize that this person may be a paraplegic (or other disabled) who has to use a mouth held instrument to point to letters on a computer in order to communicate? Its not easy, so making corrections doubles, or more, the effort. I hope you never have to find out the hard way.

received call from this number on yesterday. heavy accented man called to speak to husband by first name, told him he wasn't home, then he asked for me by first name and i asked who was calling. he immediately told me that he was calling from gov. grants and that i was selected to received $3000 free money, not pay back for education or to start up business. knew he was fake so i pretended that i was interested. was he pleased! told him i was in college and he stated that i would get and additional 1000.00 for that reason and that i would need to confirm with someone from the state department and i will be receiving my money within 5-10 days. well.....then he drop the bombshell that i would need to pay a one time fee of 39.95 cost to transfer my funds into my account and needed my tracking number. i then let him have it and told him i was forwarding the number to scambusters. HE HUNG UP!!!

Ive had multiple calls from them for a while now and I wont pick up the phone when I see their number displayed. They are a credit card processing company. Their website says they are BBB accredited which when checked out at BBB, you will see that there is an alert on them. Their BBB rating is an F. The reason is that they have a history of violating the BBB name and logo policy. They are obviously very untrustworthy and youd have to be short of more than just a few brain cells to do business with a company like this.

I think this is a robo-dialer. A man's voice came on the line very clearly and asked to speak to my husband by name... But before I could even answer, the voice asked if he could talk to the lady of the home and when I said this is she, the line went dead.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number for weeks. Once even after 9pm. It is a recorded message about "lowering your credit card interest". Today I listened all the way through hoping to eventually speak to a live person. A man came on the line and I told him I am on the do-not-call registry and told him to remove my number from their lists. HE REFUSED. He actually flat out said "NO." He was arrogant and smart-mouthed and said "Do you know what company I'm calling from?" "How do you know we don't have a prior business relationship?" I said that what I do know is that they have to remove me if I request it. And he said no again, and then said, "How about if I call you to tomorrow to see if your attitude has changed?" The number shown on my caller ID is 207-493-2647 but no name comes up with it. A reverse directory search did not come up with a name either. A web search came up with this page. I have filed complaints with both the Do Not Call Registry and the FCC.
